The hair weaving program is designed to provide theoretical and practical training in techniques related to hair weaving, extensions, wig installation, basic braiding, scalp care, safety, sanitation, and professionalism, in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
The program aims to prepare students for entry-level opportunities within the extensions, hair weaving, and related beauty and hair care services industry.
Graduates of the hair weaving program may pursue entry-level opportunities in areas related to extensions and hair services, including, but not limited to:

Hair Weaving
Students who pay in full will receive a preferred discount, applied directly to the total amount, as recognition for paying the full balance in a single payment. In general, extended payment plans beyond the normal program duration may include additional administrative fees.
Students will be notified of specific requirements, service blocks, and applicable updates as the program progresses.

The student is responsible for paying tuition, fees, materials, books, kits, and any other program-related costs in accordance with the enrollment agreement signed with the institution. The down payment required to register for the Hair Weaving program at GLAM Beauty Academy is $850 USD and includes:
- Registration fee: $100.00 refundable
- Uniform: $50.00 non-refundable
- Student kit: $519.75 non-refundable
- Books: $100.00 non-refundable
- TDLR permit: $25.00 non-refundable
- Tax: $55.25 non-refundable
